About Niki

Raised in a newspaper office

I grew up in Iowa, where my parents owned a local newspaper. I started helping at the paper when I was about 10, and as I got older, I designed advertisements and sold advertising for local businesses. That early experience led me to study art at the University of Iowa and work at The Daily Iowan.

In 2000, I started TaylorMade Web Creations, where I’ve helped businesses with web design, graphic design, SEO, social media, and marketing.

In 2026, I began a new creative adventure by launching Creative Crafting Academy. I wanted to bring people together to try new materials, make something creative, and enjoy screen-free time together.

Based in the Roseville/Rocklin area, with web clients in California, Iowa, and Illinois.
